I want to say that my learner is very stable.  Her developmental profile is that she is a great student. She’s helpful, respectful of others and knows what’s going on around her.  She has a balanced home life father, mother, brother and a cat.  Her family cares about what she does in school.  While she’s in class she always paying attention, a good listener and, follows directions. Once in a while she has to be reminded to stay on task.  Once she is done with her work she asks what she can do next.
As to thinking of putting a name on a concept I don’t know if I can yet. I think I could take a little bit of all of them and use it.
A learning modality that I would use would be a little of all of them I think she would excel at all of them.
One thing that I have learned so far and I have used is that children love science projects.  They love those hands on activities.  They also like getting up in front of the class  in groups.  We did a readers theater and they just loved it.    As time goes on, I will learn what they need by watching and learning from them.

According to Crain (2011) it is not always easy to find the educational experiences that are most natural for a given child.  Knowledge of cognitive states can help, but children are sometimes at different stages in different areas.  A teacher has to look closely at the child’s actions, to learn the  from the child and to be guided by the child’s interests.

Week 1 Assignment 1 My Blog
Hi I think I need to reintroduce myself.  I am starting a new journey in my life.  I am going back to school to become an elementary school teacher.  I started substitute teaching a year ago.  My daughter gave me the idea since she is a first grade teacher now for two years. The more I am with these children the more I like it.  It’s very rewarding just seeing those little faces smile at you when they get it there’s nothing like it.  It going to be hard going back to school but I have a lot of support from my husband and family.
 So here I go:
I have to address why I chose this layout for my blog.  I like the feeling of being outside. I love nature. My passion is to someday live where there is a river stream with big beautiful trees.  The picture that I picked was one that I took when we were camping in Mammoth, Ca last year.  Looking at this stream is so relaxing I can still hear the water running down the mountain.  That was one of the best times we had camping.
I anticipate my personality will affect my students in a good way.  Children can sense when you really care and want them to learn.  Giving them more encouragement and drive to do a little more I can expand their understanding and give them tools to use to go even farther.  Having different ways of doing an activity could accommodate various minds in the classroom.  You have to take into consideration the ones that are not going to be responsive at firsthand respect that.  Adjust and enhance. Using various styles for auditory, visual and kinesthetic learning will just the spark, finding that will be a constant process.
For myself I am a kinesthetic learner; this means I like a lot of hands   on activities. I am not always going to use a pencil and paper it might be just them telling me the answer rather than writing it down or drawing the answer or acting it out. Most likely I will be getting the students involved with a lot of things in which they have to hold it, take it apart, and ask inquisitive questions ignite their minds. So with the students doing a lot of different activities that will give the same ending result hopefully my spark will mean success in the classroom.   There is a lot of different resources out there for me to use.  Including asking others what they are doing, looking on the internet or maybe just watching the children and assessing how they are reacting to my way of teaching.  That will be the final toll.  My teaching style is whatever the students need to be amazing people.
